Dr. Breck Tiernan
Dr. Tiernan opened Advanced Foot and Ankle Center of Joliet in 2007. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Iowa in 2000. He was born and raised in Eastern Iowa and is still a big Hawkeye fan. In 2001 he started his medical training at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. During this time, he helped write two peer-reviewed scientific articles while training at the world-renown Weil Foot and Ankle Institute in Des Plaines, IL with Dr. Thomas Roukis. After graduating in 2005, he was surgically trained at Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago with an emphasis on bunion correction and Ankle Arthroscopy. Dr. Tiernan has completed 3 extensive External Fixation courses around the country.
