We are the only area podiatry practice to provide Lower Extremity Foot and Ankle MRI (Joliet Office).

Whether heel pain has developed recently or has been with you for some time, it is not something you simply have to learn to live with.

The truth is that the vast majority of heel pain cases can be effectively treated – and through conservative methods, as well. We greatly reduce or outright eliminate our most of our patients’ heel pain within a few months of treatment. Surgery is rarely necessary.

Heel Pain

The Key to Getting Rid of Heel Pain

If you have already attempted one or two remedies and found them lacking, that doesn’t mean your heel pain is invincible. It usually just means you haven’t tried a treatment that directly addresses the source of the problem!

There are many potential causes of heel pain, and the experts at Advanced Foot & Ankle Centers of Illinois know them all. We can help you determine the root causes of your pain and recommend a course of treatment that will set you on the path toward much-needed relief.

Different causes of heel pain require different approaches to treatment, and we have a variety of methods to meet a wide range of conditions and needs. Whether an effective treatment course consists of traditional methods such as rest and stretching, or more advanced technologies such as custom orthotics, laser therapy, or Aquaroll, our goal will always be to get rid of a patient’s heel pain in the ways that best suit them.

Dr. Breck Tiernan is a superior Podiatrist in every way. He did more to help my right big toe during my first three visits than my previous Podiatrist did in three years—seriously… I highly recommend Dr. Breck Tiernan to anyone in need of outstanding Podiatric care.
