Bio:

Welcome to Advanced Foot and Ankle Centers of Illinois, where Dr. Gjergo delivers compassionate and thorough foot and ankle care at our Joliet and Orland Park locations. Dr. Gjergo specializes in a range of treatments, focusing on conditions such as heel pain, bunion and hammertoe discomfort, sports injuries, custom orthotics, and general podiatric care.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Gjergo moved to Chicago for her medical training after earning her B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, where she remains a devoted Wolverines sports fan. She completed her medical education at Rosalind Franklin University and residency at Ascension St. Mary’s-Chicago.

Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Gjergo enjoys exploring new dining experiences, traveling, and cherishing moments with her husband and dog.
