UltraMIST Therapy
UltraMIST applies low-frequency ultrasound at the site of treatment, utilizing a non-contact fluid such as saline and resulting in a low-energy mist. The mist cleans and debrides the wound, removing any fibrin, yellow slough, tissue exudates and bacteria from the site. The mist also increases perfusion through vasodilation, which in turn increases the oxygen and nutrients to the affected area, promoting healing to the wound.
